Piecey is the dream of one woman with champagne tastes and a beer budget. This shop combines a lifelong pursuit for the best quality secondhand items, a passion for tailoring, alterations, and repairs, and an endless desire to bring aesthetic visions to life; in other words, playing dress-up without wasting money or materials. Whether you're still finding yourself or are well-known for your individual style, Piecey is here to deliver high-quality garments that will fit you, your wardrobe, and your wallet.
Piecey started as Post Couture: high-end clothing beyond labels and definitely worth photographing. In recognition of this heritage (and knowing all my Pisces will read Piecey as "pie-see"), our logo retains the letters of the original brand.

Piecey does not rely on sourcing from nonprofit thrift shops like Goodwill or Salvation Army. We do not want to create or contribute to a scarcity of high-quality goods for our neighbors. When we do source from these stores, we only purchase items that require repair or redesign. This allows us to breathe new life into pieces that would otherwise end up as waste. Bringing these pieces back into circulation allows our customers to enjoy new styles while saving the planet.
We want everything that you order to fit as expected. We have a filter to help you search for general sizing (S, S-M, M, M-L, L), but you will find detailed sizing information in the description for each item. We know that it may be an adjustment to think about measurements rather than standardized sizing. For help finding your measurements, check out our blog post here to guide you through the sizing in our shop.
Piecey focuses exclusively on luxurious, all-natural materials; however, the last thing we want for you is a dry cleaning bill that costs more than the clothes! To that end, we have tagged certain items "machine washable." Any clothes with this tag have already gone through machine washing and you can rest assured that what you see is what you get. We are based in San Francisco, California. While we are currently an online-only shop, we would love to see you at a local pop-up. Join our newsletter to stay up-to-date on where you can find us next! Limited in-person appointments are also available for alterations; we are happy to bring additional items if you would like to view them in person during your appointment.
At this time, we do not offer returns. Please be certain of your sizing prior to buying. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out! We want you to love everything in your closet and we hope that will come to include some special pieces from Piecey. Limited in-person appointments are also available for alterations; we are happy to bring additional items if you would like to view them in person during your appointment.
Certain pieces include the option for alteration. For these items, please send us a note to indicate: (i) which alterations you are interested in; and (ii) your measurements. Limited in-person appointments are also available to ensure that your alterations will fit true to you.
